Last night, the most amazing thing happened ever for the whole of my dancing experience. For many, many years of dancing for occasional events, I had never encounter this before. First time last night, I felt the presence of the holy spirit while I was choreographing. I was inspired by the holy spirit while I was trying to think of some moves at home for the song that we are going to perform for the coming Christmas. I felt the presence of the Lord around me. It was with me until a little later, it was time for few of our choreographers to gather to share our moves. The Lord inspire each and every one of us, I continue to feel the presence of the Lord. It was our second meeting of two hour every night to choreograph. In just the second night, we nearly finish choreographing the whole song, about 90% of it. The moves and ideas for formations just flow and came to us as we continue to move for the Lord.
I have been dancing nearly every year since I was really young though I may not be a professional, I just love to dance and sway. Whether dancing for events, at home or just for the exercise, never had I felt the presence of the Lord. I had experiences of learning different dances, copying moves from video or choreographing, never had I being so inspired before. All of my past experiences in dancing had always been for myself. Last night was different, the Lord had used and inspired each and every one of the other choreographers/dancers, all at the same time to be creative and all be able to contribute and combine all our moves and ideas together into the dance. For the first time, never had I ever felt as ease and light in choreographing and dancing. It was all…it all happened because this is for first time…I danced for the Lord…and I will…with all my heart…continue to dance for the Lord.
Two hours in dancing and being inspired by the Lord, two hours pass without anyone noticing that it had. We collapsed on the floor and I was quit dehydrated after non-stop dancing for two hours. It was really great, we manage to have about 90% of the dance steps. Before we part, we prayed and gave thanks. We dedicated the dance to the Lord and I believed that at that time he is smiling upon us from heaven. I’m very glad that this year, I have an opportunity to give Jesus the best present ever that I could ever give Him. I’m going to use my best talent that he had blessed me with for His purpose. For the blessing He had pour out on me…it’s time I turn it into praise!
